Checking the thickness of the driven disk
The clutch is self-adjusting and does not require maintenance. The wear of the driven disk is determined by the free travel of the clutch pedal. The thickness of the driven disk is measured in the installed position using a special control template. The template can be made independently.
As part of routine maintenance work, the thickness of the driven disk must be checked every 60,000 km.

Make a control template from a steel sheet according to the sketch.
Raise the car.

The driven disk lining is normal if the template "4" can be inserted into the hole of the slave cylinder until it stops.
If the gap E = 5 mm between the control template and the actuator cylinder, the driven disk is worn out and must be replaced.
