Clean the brake pads and calipers with compressed air or a cloth soaked in alcohol.
Caution: Do not inhale brake dust!
Coat the following areas with Plastilube paste or Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC high-temperature paste:
- All available locations on the rear brake pad plate.
- Front sides of pistons.
- Brake bracket mating surfaces.
- Sliding surfaces of brake calipers.
Caution: Plastilube or high-temperature paste must not come into contact with the working surfaces of the brake discs or brake pads. Any paste residue that does come into contact with them must be removed with a cloth or washed with alcohol.
Install the brake pads.
