Raise the car.
Pay attention to visible traces of grease on the cuffs and nearby.
Check the fastening of the clamps.
Inspect the rubber of the cuffs with a lamp for cracks and tears. Be sure to replace torn cuffs of the hinges.
If the cuff is compressed due to internal vacuum or is damaged, it must be replaced immediately.
