The front pipe is bolted to the exhaust manifold, which is attached to the cylinder head. All parts are bolted or welded together and can be replaced separately. Self-locking nuts and gaskets must be replaced after removal. Check retaining rings and rubber cushions for cracks, otherwise they must be replaced.
When installing a new exhaust system, it is recommended to also install new fasteners.
