The front pipe is bolted to the exhaust manifold, which is attached to the cylinder head. All parts are bolted or welded and can be replaced separately. Self-locking nuts and gaskets must be replaced after they have been removed. Check the retaining rings and rubber pads for cracks, otherwise they should be replaced.
When installing a new exhaust system, it is also recommended to install new fasteners.
