Removal and installation of the exhaust system assembly (m54 and N52 K engines)
Attention:
- Risk of burns. These works should be performed only on a cold exhaust system.
- An assistant is required to remove the exhaust system.
1. Support the exhaust system with tool 312220.
Caution: An assistant is required to remove the exhaust system.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose (1).
3. Unscrew the nuts.
4. Unscrew the bolts.
5. Loosen the nuts (1) and remove the exhaust system assembly.
Note: During installation, the nuts must be replaced.
6. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: After installation, the exhaust system must be checked for leaks.
