Removal and installation of the exhaust system assembly (m57 TU/M57 T2 engine)
Attention:
- Risk of burns. These works should be performed only on a cold exhaust system.
- An assistant is required to remove the exhaust system.
Note: The exhaust system weighs approximately 40 kg.
1. Support the exhaust system with tool 312220.
2. Unscrew the nut.
3. Unscrew the nuts (1).
4. Unscrew the nuts (2).
5. Remove the bracket (3).
6. Unscrew the nut.
7. Unscrew the nuts.
8. Carefully lower the exhaust system (1).
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Note: After installation, the exhaust system must be checked for leaks.
