Rear window defroster (BMW 3 Series E46)
The illustration shows one of the options for placing the rear window heating button when the car is equipped with automatic air conditioning.
An example of another arrangement is presented in Section Heater, ventilation and air conditioning of the passenger compartment.
Press the key. While the indicator lamp is on, the rear window heating operates in high power mode (accelerated defrosting).
When the lamp goes out, the heating power is reduced and it is switched off automatically.
Press the key.
