Rear window wiper (BMW X3 E83)
Removal and installation the rear window wiper blade

1. Move the wiper arm (1) away from the rear window.
2. Release the rear window wiper blade (2) from the clips in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove.
3. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Replacing the rear window wiper arm

1. Pull the inner fasteners (1) in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the cover (2) as shown in the figure.

Note: When installing, the fasteners (1) and (2) of the cover (3) must not be damaged.

2. Move the windshield wiper arm (1) to the vertical position.
3. Loosen the nut (2) and remove the wiper arm (1) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Tightening torque: 12 Nm.

Note:
- When installing, make sure that the rear window wiper motor is in the parking position.
- Set the dimension (A) between the wiper blade (1) and the edge of the rear window (2).
Size (A): 29 mm.
4. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Removal and installation the rear window wiper motor
1. Remove the rear window wiper arm.
2. Remove the trunk lid trim.

3. Unlock and disconnect the connectors (1).
Note: Secure the rear window wiper motor (3) to prevent it from falling.
4. Unscrew the screws (2).
Tightening torque: 10 Nm.
5. Remove the rear window wiper motor (3) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Note: When installing, it is necessary to replace the bushing (4).
6. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
Removal and installation the rear window washer pump
Note: Empty the windshield washer reservoir.

1. Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).
2. Disconnect the hose (2) from the windshield washer pump (3) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
3. Turn the pump (3) and remove it from the washer fluid reservoir (4) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Note:
- During installation, it is necessary to replace the pump sealing ring.
- Lubricate the windshield washer pump O-ring with lubricant to facilitate sliding.
- When laying the hose, ensure there are no kinks.
- Fill the washer fluid reservoir.
4. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
