Headlight washer (BMW X3 E83)

Removal and installation the headlight washer pump

Note: Empty the windshield washer reservoir.

1. Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

2. Press the lock (2) and pull the hose (3) out of the headlight washer pump (4).

3. Remove the headlight washer pump (4) from the washer fluid reservoir (5) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Note:

• During installation, it is necessary to replace the pump sealing ring/mesh.
• Lubricate the windshield washer pump O-ring with lubricant to facilitate sliding.
• When laying the hose, ensure there are no kinks.
• Fill the washer fluid reservoir.

4. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
