When the vehicle is parked, the wiper speed decreases.
As the speed of the vehicle increases, the duration of the pause during pause mode operation is reduced.
A fully automatic pause duration control system can be installed as an option. AIC system (automatic pause control) contains a rain sensor and controls the duration of the pause during the operation of the wiper, depending on the wetness of the front glass, steplessly from continuous operation to a state of rest. To do this, the rain sensor determines the light transmission of the glass by reflecting the infrared light of the LED from the front glass: dry glass reflects infrared light completely, and wet glass only partially.
Attention: This chapter covers not only the electrical but also the mechanical components of the windshield wiper.
