Removal and installation the rear window wiper motor (Touring) (BMW 5 Series E39)
Note: Installation requires special tool BMW-611320.
Removal
Remove the rear door trim.

Disconnect 2 plugs "1" for electrical wires from the electric motor.
Cut the clamp "2" of both electrical wires.
Unscrew the 3 mounting bolts "3" and remove the electric motor.
Installation
Insert the electric motor and lightly tighten it with bolts "3".
Make sure the end stop is aligned with the wiper shaft bearing, see next chapter.

Turn the electric motor so that the center of the drive disk coincides with the center of the wiper axis. To do this, use the BMW-611320 device each time.
Tighten the electric motor mounting bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
