Use a screwdriver to pry the protective cap (3) of the lever (7) from the side and remove it. Unscrew the nut (4) securing the windshield wiper lever. Using the tool "61.6.060" (1, Fig. 16.33), disconnect the wiper arm (2) and remove it.
The rear window wiper arm should be installed in the reverse order, making sure that the protective cap clips are securely in place (3, see Fig. 16.10) had no damage.
The windshield wiper motor must be in the end position. Adjust the distance (1, Fig. 16.34) between the wiper arm and the lower edge of the rear window, which should be 32.5 mm±2 mm.
The lever mounting nut (M8) should be tightened to a torque of 13.5 N·m (1.35 kgf·m).
