Remove the bolts (1 and 2, Fig. 16.31) console fastenings. Using the device "61.6.250", unscrew the nut (3), remove the console (4) of the windshield wiper and disconnect the shock absorber (5).
Installation of the windshield wiper console assembly with the electric motor should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to replace the rubber buffer (3, see Fig. 16.9). If necessary, replace the upper (7) and lower (8) parts of the damping ring. Tighten the console mounting bolts (2) to a torque of 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m).
Tighten the nut (4) of the rubber buffer (3). Before installing the windshield wiper arms, bring the windshield wiper motor to a position corresponding to the recessed position of the arms.
Check and adjust the angle of the levers. If there is a deviation from the specified value, adjust the angle using the adjusting screw (1, Fig. 16.32). Recheck the installation angle of the wiper arms.
Holding the adjusting screw (1), tighten the nut (2) with the "61.6.250" tool to a torque of 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m). Lock the nut (2) with a special varnish.
