Withdrawal
1. Chock the front wheels and apply the parking brake. Raise the rear of the car and place it on stands (cm. "Lifting and placing the car on supports).
Models released before September 2001
2. Starting from the left corner, carefully remove the plastic trim from the bumper (pic. 7.2).
3. Remove the center pins, then remove the clips securing the lockers to the bumper (pic. 7.3).
4. On models manufactured before December 1998, remove the bolt securing each locker to the bumper (pic. 7.4).
5. On models manufactured after December 1998, unscrew the nuts of the brackets securing the lockers to the bumper.
6 On all models, unscrew the lower bumper mounting bolts, pull the front ends of the bumper away from the lockers and remove the bumper from the car (pic. 7.6, a, b).
Models since October 2001
7. Remove the screws (one on each side), located at the front lower edges of the bumper (pic. 7.7).
8. Turn out two screws of fastening of a bumper to buffers.
9. Under the arch of the wing, using a flat screwdriver, gently press the ledge down and disconnect the bumper.
10. Pull the front edges of the bumper and move it back a little. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the bumper.
Installation
11. Installation is carried out in sequence. reverse withdrawal. Make sure the ends of the bumper are properly fastened. Coat the bumper mounting bolts with a little anti-self-loosening compound and tighten them securely.
