Note: To perform this operation, you will need a special BMW tool with an adapter. Follow the tool manufacturer's instructions.
1. Switch off the ignition, unscrew the cover of the diagnostic connector in the engine compartment and connect the BMW 621 110 service interval reset tool (Fig. 4.1).

2. Turn off all electrical equipment in the car, then turn on the ignition. Do not start the engine.
3. To reset T01, press and hold the yellow button. The green light on the device will come on. After about three seconds, the yellow light will come on and stay on for about 12 seconds, then go out.
4. To reset T02, press and hold the red button (Inspection). The green light will come on. After about three seconds, the red light will also come on and stay on for about 12 seconds before going out. Release the Inspection button and the green light will go out.
5. If the clock symbol lights up during the reinstallation process, wait about 20 seconds and then repeat step 4.
6. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the device with the adapter from the diagnostic connector.
7. Turn on the ignition and make sure that the service interval has been reset.
