Comment. To perform this operation, you will need a special BMW tool with an adapter. Follow the instrument manufacturer's instructions.
1. Switch off the ignition, unscrew the cover of the diagnostic socket in the engine compartment and connect the BMW 621 110 service interval reset tool (pic. 4.1).
2. Turn off all electrical equipment of the car, then turn on the ignition. Do not start the engine.
3. To reset T01, press and hold the yellow button. The green light on the device will light up. After about three seconds, the yellow light will come on and stay on for about 12 seconds, after which it will turn off.
4. To reset the T02, press and hold the red button (Inspection). The green light will turn on. After about three seconds, the red light will also come on, which will remain on for about 12 seconds, after which it will turn off. Release the Inspection button, the green light will turn off.
5. If the clock symbol lights up during reset, wait about 20 seconds, then repeat step 4.
6. Switch off ignition and disconnect the device with an adapter from a diagnostic socket.
7. Turn on the ignition and check that. that the service interval has been reset.
