In addition to the time, the display can show the date and outside air temperature. Pressing the "Memo" button will show the time value rounded to the nearest hour.

When the ignition key is in position "0", the time and date are displayed after pressing the corresponding function button. After turning the key to position "1", the time is displayed. Numerical values can be entered and changed.

Entering time and date

After a power outage (first input, blinking dot) the time can be set without first pressing the "UHR" function button using the "h/DAT" and "min/DAT" input buttons.

After a power outage (first input, blinking dot) the time can be set without first pressing the…

To enter the date, first press the "DATUM" function button.

Each time you press or hold the Enter button, the numeric value increases by one for every ½ second.

The "Clock" mode is accompanied by the corresponding symbol, and the "Date" mode is accompanied by the inscription "DAT".

The indication mode is switched on with an accuracy of up to a second by pressing the "UHR" button, the calendar program is launched by pressing the "DATUM" button. The dot then stops blinking.

Before entering new values, press the corresponding function button ("UHR" or "DATUM") until a flashing dot appears between the hours and minutes (or between date and month).

If after entering the time or date display is not started, but another function is selected, the old values are retained.

Incorrect (unreal)the values are not accepted by the program. When indicating the date, a leap year is not taken into account and manual correction must be made.

Instructions for watches with 12-hour interval readings

The change from AM to RM occurs at 12 o'clock and is displayed before the time display. For the convenience of car owners in different countries, the ability to switch to:
  • 24 hour interval and°C;
  • 12 hour interval and°F;
  • 12 hour interval and°C.

on the back cover of the case. After switching from the "24 hour" mode to the "12 hour" mode, the input button automatically switches from the "Date - month" indication to the "Month - day" indication.

"Memo" button

This button switches on and off the indication of the rounded hour value (to a whole number). 15 seconds before each whole hour, a signal sounds, reminding, for example, when the tape recorder is on, of the need to switch to the radio receiver to listen to the latest news. Switching on the mode is accompanied by the indication of the letters "ME".

Outside temperature

When you press the "A-TEMP" button, the outside air temperature is displayed. At temperatures below +3°C and starting from the "1" position of the ignition key, a warning signal sounds (icy roads possible). The unit of measurement symbol (°C/°F) and the dot flash simultaneously for 10 seconds.

If you switch to another mode during this time and then return to the temperature display mode, only the optical warning (flashing°C/°F symbol and dot) will remain until the end of the 10-second period.

The low temperature warning is repeated if, after the last warning, the temperature has risen to +6°C and then dropped again to +3°C.

Remember that ice may form on the road surface even at temperatures above +3°C (for example, on a bridge or on the shady side of the road).
