Adjusting the headlight angle (BMW 5 Series E34)

Your vehicle has the ability to adjust the angle of the headlights depending on the load.

• 0=1-2 people, trunk empty.
• 1=5 people, trunk is empty.
• 2=1 person, trunk fully loaded.

Cars with ride height control

• 0=1-2 people, trunk empty
• 0=5 people, trunk empty.
• 2=1 person, trunk fully loaded.

Do not exceed the maximum permissible load on the rear axle.

If the adjustment occurs within too wide limits, this indicates that the electronics have failed.

Curtain* with electric drive

If necessary, the rear window of your car can be closed with a sunshade. To do this, press the switch (shown by arrow).



The system only operates when the interior temperature is above -5°C.

Regular curtains can also be installed (without electric drive) (on the rear window and side rear windows). Each curtain is pulled by the loop and fixed by the bottom edge.
