Engage the gear, turn the crankshaft, moving the car to a position where the contact plate of the breaker lever comes into contact with the top of the cam of the distributor drive shaft.
Check the gap between the breaker contacts with a feeler gauge, which should be 0.35 mm. If it deviates from the norm, set the proper gap by moving the fixed contact plate.
After setting the proper clearance, tighten the lock screw.
Install the rotor and distributor cap.
While turning the crankshaft, check the cam angle, which should be within 59-65°, or the angle of the closed state of the breaker contacts, which should be within 66-72°.
Set the ignition timing.
