Engage a gear, rotate the crankshaft, moving the vehicle to a position where the contact plate of the breaker lever comes into contact with the top of the distributor drive shaft cam.
Check the gap between the breaker contacts with a feeler gauge, which should be 0.35 mm. In case of abnormality, set the proper clearance by moving the fixed contact plate.
After setting the proper clearance, tighten the set screw.
Install the rotor and distributor cap.
While turning the crankshaft, check the cam angle, which should be between 59-65°, or the closed angle of the breaker contacts, which should be between 66-72°.
Set the ignition timing.
