Fuel system expansion tank — removal and installation (BMW 3 Series E46)
Removal
1. Raise the right rear side of the car and support it. Remove the rear right wheel.
2. Remove the rear right wing poker (see paragraph 23 of chapter 12).
3. Unscrew the tank mounting nut, disconnect the lower hose from it and pull the bottom of the tank forward (Fig. 4.3).

4. Disconnect the remaining ventilation hoses from the tank (mark their position to avoid difficulties during installation).
Installation
5. Install the tank in reverse order.
