Remove the top part, pull the expansion tank up.

Removal



Remove the expansion tank cap.

Caution: When the engine is hot, cover the cap with a thick cloth before removing it to avoid being burned by hot coolant or steam. Remove the cap only when the coolant temperature is less than 90°C.


Loosen the air bleed screw (1) and bolts (2).

Installation



Replace the sealing rings (arrows).

Insert the expansion tank, install the top part and tighten the bolts of its fastening and the air bleed bolt.

Fill with coolant and bleed air from the cooling system.

Warm up the engine and check the connections for tightness.
