Car keys (BMW 5 Series E28)
A. Main keys
- Master Key; with backlight (switch on by pressing the BMW symbol)
- The second key
- Backup key to store in a safe place, such as a wallet
B. Key for doors and ignition switch
Does not fit trunk and glove compartment locks.
Making a new key
The key number is specified in the barcode on the self-adhesive label. Please keep it in a safe place.
Main key with backlight
When the light intensity weakens, replace the battery, do not allow the electrolyte to escape into the power supply socket. Replacing the battery - see illustration.
Please hand over used batteries to special collection points* or to a BMW service center.
