Rear towing eye: To access it, remove the cover using a screwdriver or similar tool.
For towing, use a rigid hitch, nylon rope or sling, which, due to its elasticity, compensates for large traction loads.
When towing with a rigid hitch, the towing eyes of both vehicles must be located on the same side.
If a diagonal rigid hitch cannot be avoided, remember the following:
- When cornering, the freedom of maneuver is limited;
- With a diagonal arrangement of a rigid hitch, a lateral force arises (which is critical when driving on slippery roads);
- To compensate for the skew, the towed vehicle must be displaced along the track relative to the towing vehicle;
- When braking the towing vehicle, there is a risk of skidding.
Attention: The vehicle to be towed must not be heavier than the vehicle being towed.
