Portable lamp (BMW 5 Series E34)

This lamp is powered by a stand-alone battery that can be charged from the car battery. The charging socket is located on the left in the glove compartment.

Thanks to the battery overcharge protection device, the lamp plug can be kept plugged into the socket at all times.

Caution: Insert the plug into the socket for recharging only when the lamp is turned off.
