The use of anti-skid chains is permitted only on the wheels of the drive (rear) axle. When using wheels with a rim diameter of 17 inches, the installation of anti-skid chains is not possible.
With anti-skid chains installed, you cannot drive faster than 50 km/h. To drive on roads without snow or ice, anti-skid chains must be removed.
Only snow chains approved by BMW must be used.
