Attention! During work, the wheels must be set in a position corresponding to straight-line movement.
The diameter of the front anti-roll bar of the car is 29 mm, its design is shown in Figure 13.46. Replacing the front anti-roll bar must be carried out in the following order. Remove the engine compartment protection panel and stiffening plate.
Loosen the nut (8) and detach the rack (7) from stabilizer (1) transverse stability. Loosen the bolts (5) fasteners, remove retaining brackets (3, 4) rubber-metal joints (2) stabilizer and remove the hinges.
Detach the left front control arm pivot from the swing arm.
Push the suspension strut forward. Raise the stabilizer above the drive shaft and remove it on the left side.
To replace the rack (7) stabilizer, it is necessary to unscrew the self-locking nuts (8, see fig. 13.46), holding the fasteners from turning with a wrench.
When installing, make sure not to confuse the racks in places, the right one has an even nomenclature number, the left one has an odd one. Replace self-locking nuts (8) and tighten them to 100 Nm (10.0 kgf·m).
The installation of the anti-roll bar should be carried out in the reverse order, if necessary.
If necessary, replace the rubber-to-metal joints.
There must be no traces of grease on rubber-metal hinges, clamps and stabilizer.
