Protective covers must be replaced in the following order. Remove the drive shaft, clean it and clamp it in a vice with soft (sparing) jaws, while the CV joint on the wheel side is up, and the CV joint on the drive side is down.
Replacing the bellows on the CV joint on the side of the wheel.
Loosen clamps (1 and 2, fig. 13.58) and move back (in the direction of the arrow) corrugated case (3).
Press out hinge (1, fig. 13.59), breaking the retaining ring on the shaft (2) and taking it off. Remove the bellows by sliding it over the splined shaft. Wipe all parts thoroughly with a clean cloth.
Attention! Add grease to the CV joint, which is included in the repair kit.
The installation of the corrugated boot should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to replace the retaining ring and install the CV joint until the retaining ring is audibly fixed.
