The replacement of protective covers must be carried out in the following order: Remove the drive shaft, clean it and clamp it in a vice with soft (gentle) jaws, with the CV joint on the wheel side facing up and the CV joint on the drive side facing down.

Attention! Add grease, which is included in the repair kit, to the CV joint.


The installation of the corrugated cover should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to replace the retaining ring and install the CV joint until the retaining ring is audibly fixed.
