
The replacement of protective covers must be carried out in the following order: Remove the drive shaft, clean it and clamp it in a vice with soft (gentle) jaws, with the CV joint on the wheel side facing up and the CV joint on the drive side facing down.
Replacing the corrugated CV joint boot on the wheel side.
Loosen the clamps (1 and 2, Fig. 13.58) and move back (by the arrow) corrugated cover (3).

Press out the hinge (1, Fig. 13.59), by passing the locking ring on the shaft (2) and removing it. Remove the corrugated cover by sliding it along the splined shaft. Wipe all parts thoroughly with a clean cloth.

Attention! Add grease, which is included in the repair kit, to the CV joint.
The installation of the corrugated cover should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to replace the retaining ring and install the CV joint until the retaining ring is audibly fixed.
