Raise the car so that the wheel can rotate freely.
Loosen the wheel bolts enough so that the wheel can move on the hub.

Turn the wheel so that the valve - lower arrow - is located at the bottom.
Remove the upper wheel bolt and install the wheel bolt with lock (top arrow).
In this position (wheel bolt with lock on top and valve on bottom) tighten the wheel bolts by hand in a criss-cross pattern.
Lower the car.
Tighten the wheel bolts crosswise to a torque of 100 Nm.
Note: This type of installation allows for minimal imbalance due to the heavier bolt with the lock. However, if vibrations occur during driving, the wheels will need to be balanced.
