Replacing the coolant (BMW 7 Series E32)

The coolant must be replaced as part of maintenance every three years. The following tools and materials are required for this:

• Jack and stands.
• Wide-blade screwdriver.
• A set of socket heads or open-end wrenches.
• Container for draining coolant.

For pouring (and in the warm season) use a mixture of antifreeze and distilled water.

The drain plug (bolt) on the cylinder block requires an aluminum sealing ring of size A14x18.
