1. Pull the hood latch release handle located on the left under the instrument panel towards you.
2. To finally release the hood, press the additional lock located on the left behind the radiator grille and pull the hood up.
First, make sure that the windshield wiper arms are not pulled away from the glass.
The hood is held open by means of struts.
1. Before closing the hood, make sure that there are no tools, rags or other foreign objects left in the engine compartment.
2. To close the hood, release it from a height of about 30 cm.
3. Check that the hood is securely locked in the closed position by pulling it up by the front edge.
To avoid damaging the paintwork, do not press the loosely closed hood with your hands; the correct way is to open it again and release it from a small height.
