1. Pull the hood latch release handle located under the instrument panel on the left.
2. For the final release of the hood, press the additional lock located on the left behind the grille and pull the hood up.
Make sure the wiper arms are not out of the glass beforehand.
The hood is held open by struts.
1. Before slamming the hood, make sure that no tools, rags or other foreign objects are left in the engine compartment.
2. To close the hood, release it from a height of about 30 cm.
3. Check that the hood is securely locked in the closed position by pulling up on the front edge.
In order to avoid damage to the paintwork, you should not squeeze a loosely closed hood with your hands - it will be correct to open it again and release it from a small height.
