Not all models are equipped with a sunroof. A description of the control of the upper hatch through a single lock is given in Section Access, protection.
The e/drive mechanism of the roof hatch has a pinch prevention function, i.e. if there is excessive resistance when closing the sunroof, the lid will stop and move back. However, do not prevent the top hatch from closing, as this may result in injury.
The e/drive of a cover of the top hatch works in positions «1» and «2» ignition lock.
The switch located in the upper console is used for control.
The sunroof can also be operated after the ignition is turned off, until one of the front doors is opened.
Press or move the switch in the desired direction until resistance is felt - the sunroof will lift or move in the appropriate direction. When lifting the top hatch cover, the visor is retracted by a few centimeters.
On some models, an automatic opening and closing of the sunroof is available: if you move the switch past the point of resistance, the sunroof will move to the fully open/closed position. In addition, if the sunroof is open, briefly press the switch in the direction «Lift», the sunroof cover will rise to the maximum value, and if, with the cover up, briefly press the switch in the direction «Open», the sunroof will move to the fully open position.
After failures in the power supply of the e / drive mechanism of the top hatch cover (e.g. after disconnecting the battery) it will only work on lifting and lowering. To resume full operation of the e / drive of the top hatch cover, lift it to the maximum value and hold the switch in this position for about 5 seconds.
