Lifting - opening - closing
After turning the ignition key to position 1, press the switch or slide it to the point of increased resistance in the desired direction.
When lifted, the cover in the headlining will move only a few centimeters back.
After switching off the ignition, you can still use the sunroof for 15 minutes if none of the front doors has been opened and then closed again.
Automatic opening and closing
The sunroof opens and closes automatically if you slide the switch in the appropriate direction past the high resistance point and then release it.
The following operations are performed automatically:
With the cover open, touching the switch in the direction "Raise" allows you to move the lid to its final lifting position.
With the cover raised, touching the switch in the direction "Open" allows you to move the lid to its final open position.
Touching the switch again stops the movement.
To avoid injury, control the process of closing the sunroof and be very careful when doing so.
Always take the ignition key with you when leaving the vehicle so that, for example, children cannot operate the sunroof and injure themselves.
There will be no vacuum and drafts in the cabin if, with the hatch open or raised, the nozzles in the front panel are fully open and, if necessary, the air supply is increased, refer to Section Heater, ventilation and cabin air conditioning.
For information on automatic opening and closing of the sunroof by turning the key in the door lock or using radio remote control Keys, single lock and anti-theft system.
Anti-pinch function
If, during the closing process, the sunroof lid hits an obstacle approximately in the middle of its travel, it will stop and move back a little.
This feature can be disabled (e.g. if the cover slides heavily along the guides in frosty weather or if an unauthorized person tries to get into the car from the outside), if you move the switch past the high resistance point and hold it in that position.
Drive failure
In the event of an electrical fault, the sunroof can be opened or closed manually.
