The reinforced seat structure, together with the seat belts, belt restraints and tensioners and of course the airbags, ensures the highest level of safety. Thanks to the multi-layer structure of the filler of ergonomic seats, the high percentage of natural fibers and the sophisticated internal ventilation system of the seat, a person feels relaxed and does not get tired while driving - and even on long trips. The lumbar support ensures the optimal position of the spine.
Seat adjustment
For your own safety, observe the following seat adjustment guidelines.
Do not adjust the driver's seat while driving. If it moves unexpectedly, it could cause you to lose control of your vehicle and lead to an accident.
The seat belt should fit as close to the body as possible. Otherwise, in a frontal collision, the lap belt may jump up over the thighs and injure the lower abdomen. In addition, with a loosely fitting belt, its holding effect is realized with a delay.
It is unacceptable that while the car is moving, the back of the front seat is tilted far back (this applies primarily to the passenger seat), since in the event of an accident there is a danger "slips" a person under the seat belt who will not be able to perform its protective function.
Seat with manual adjustment
1. Longitudinal adjustment.
Pull the handle to move the seat to a comfortable position.
After releasing the handle, rock the seat back and forth slightly until it locks securely.
2. Height adjustment.
By pulling the handle, adjust the seat height by loading the cushion with its own weight or by standing up from it.
3. Backrest adjustment.
By pulling the handle, adjust the backrest by leaning back or leaning forward.
Correct fit
To unload the vertebral discs, sit with the maximum shift back, leaning with your entire back on the seat back. The ideal posture is one in which the head is in line with the spine.
To reduce muscle tension on long journeys, you can slightly increase the backrest. At the same time, however, it should be possible to drive the car when the arms lying on the highest point of the steering wheel are slightly bent at the elbows.
After adjusting the seat, adjust the seat belt height, refer to Section Security systems.
Headrests
Adjustment
The head restraints can be adjusted in height by pulling them out of their sockets or pushing them back.
To move the head restraints to the lowest position, press button 1.
The inclination of the front seat headrests can be adjusted by turning around the horizontal axis.
Headrests reduce the traumatic consequences of accidents for the cervical vertebrae.
The center of the head restraints should be approximately at ear level.
Withdrawal
Pull the head restraint up as far as it will go.
Click the button (shown by arrow) and remove the headrest.
Installation
Click the button (shown by arrow) and insert the headrest into the guides.
Adjust the position of the head restraint.
Signature Sports Seat*
This seat has the additional ability to adjust the angle of the cushion and knee support.
1. Tilt up: Pull the handle up a few times until the seat cushion is in a comfortable position.
2. Tilt down: Press the lever several times until the seat cushion is in a comfortable position for you.
3. Knee Support: Pull the handle to bring the knee support to a comfortable position.
Lumbar support*
The contour of the back can be modified so that its protruding part fits into the cavity of the lumbar spine, creating support for it.
This provides support for the upper pelvis and spine, contributing to a correct and loose fit.
By pressing the switch in front or behind, respectively, the increase or decrease in the convexity of the backrest contour is achieved.
Pressing the top or bottom of the switch increases the bulge of the top or bottom of the lumbar support.
Seat with electric position adjustment*
1. Longitudinal seat adjustment.
2. Seat height adjustment.
3. Adjustment of an inclination of a back.
The headrest is adjusted manually.
For your own safety, follow the adjustment instructions above in this Section.

2. Longitudinal seat adjustment.
3. Seat height adjustment.
4. Adjustment of an inclination of a back.
The headrest and knee support are manually adjusted.

Seat adjustment memory*
Up to three seat adjustments can be memorized and played back.

Memorization
1. After inserting the key into the ignition switch, turn it to position 1 or 2.
2. Adjust the seat to a comfortable position for you.
3. Press the Memory key ("Memory"). At the same time, the control lamp built into it will light up.
4. Press key 1, 2 or 3 as you wish. The indicator lamp will go out.
Playback
Ignition key in position 1:
Press without holding the desired key (1, 2 or 3).
Pressing any of the seat adjustment switches or pressing one of the memory keys will immediately abort the setting process.
The driver's door is closed and the ignition key is turned to position 0 or 2, or removed altogether:
desired key (1, 2 or 3) must be kept pressed until the installation process is complete.
If you accidentally press the MEMORY key, press it again to turn off the indicator lamp.
Do not turn on the playback function while driving, as sudden movement of the seat may cause an accident.
# You can set your car so that when it is unlocked with your private key remote control, the seat will automatically assume a comfortable position for you.
If a key memory is used, make sure the space behind the driver's seat is clear before unlocking the vehicle. Otherwise, when the seat is moved back, objects on the floor may be damaged.
