- opening the door, hood or trunk lid
- movement in the car (microwave interior protection sensor)
- change in vehicle roll, such as when trying to steal a wheel or tow
- battery interruption
Depending on the version of the vehicle, the system reacts to the named actions of unauthorized persons in different ways:
- alarm sounds for 30 seconds
- for 5 minutes, the alarm light turns on*
Arming and disarming
Arming and disarming the alarm are carried out simultaneously with the locking and unlocking of the car by turning the key in the lock or using radio remote control.
The microwave interior protection sensor is activated approximately 30 seconds after the last key turn in the door lock.
If the arming is done properly, this is indicated by a single operation of the light alarm.
The trunk can also be opened after arming the alarm by pressing button 3 on the radio remote control (refer to Section Keys, single lock and anti-theft system). After closing the trunk lid, it is again taken under the control of the burglar alarm.
For some export models, the burglar alarm can only be controlled by radio remote control. Unlocking the vehicle with the key causes the alarm to sound on these models. Button press 1 ("Unlock") or starting the engine turn off the alarm.
Signals of a control lamp
The control lamp is under a rear-view mirror.
The control lamp is permanently on: the burglar alarm is activated.
The control lamp flashes when arming the alarm: the doors, hood or trunk lid are not tightly closed. Even if you leave everything as it is, the remaining correctly closed objects will be armed, and the lamp will start to burn constantly after 10 seconds. However, the microwave interior protection sensor is not activated.
The control lamp goes out when the alarm is removed: there have been no unauthorized manipulations with the car.
The control lamp flashes for about 10 seconds when the alarm is removed: a signal of the fact of extraneous interference.
After the alarm has been triggered, the control lamp will again be on permanently.
Roll security sensor
To avoid an alarm in case of spontaneous operation of the security tilt sensor (e.g. in a double-deck or when transported by rail) or as a result of the activation of the microwave interior protection sensor, these systems can be deactivated at the same time.
Lock the car twice, i.e. arm it twice. In other words, press button 2 on the radio remote control twice or lock the car with the key twice (refer to Section Keys, single lock and anti-theft system).
The control lamp will flash briefly and then stay on. The tilt sensor and microwave interior protection sensor will be disabled until the vehicle is disarmed.
Microwave interior protection sensor
The transmitter and receiver of the microwave interior sensor are located under a roof cover.
For the microwave sensor to function properly, the windows and sunroof cover must be closed.
Turn off the microwave sensor if:
- children or animals must remain in the car,
- the windows or sunroof must remain open.
Interruption of the process of closing the sunroof and windows during the first 10 seconds and its immediate resumption leads to the deactivation of the tilt security sensor and the microwave interior protection sensor. If this happens, turn off the burglar alarm and turn it back on to turn on the tilt sensor and the microwave sensor.
