Measure the width of the guide ribs of the shift forks, which should be within 5±0.1 mm.
Check for excessive wear of the blocking rings of the synchronizers: if the axial clearance between the end of the blocking ring and the end of the ring gear of the synchronizer gear of the rye is less than 0.8 mm, the rings must be changed (for new blocking rings, this gap is 1.0 mm).
Assemble partially the secondary shaft in the reverse order of disassembly, while first of all it is necessary to press the second gear gear onto the shaft, and lastly, the reverse gear.
Install the adjusting ring on the output shaft and press the speedometer drive gear onto it until it stops. Measure the axial clearance of the secondary shaft, which should be within 0-0.09 mm. In case of deviation from the norm, achieve the proper size by selecting the thickness of the adjusting ring.
Turn the output shaft over and press the parts onto it in the reverse order of disassembly, while it is necessary to select an adjusting ring mounted on the bearing of such thickness as to ensure a tight fit of the parts.
