The rear axle gearbox is located in the middle of the rear axle. It is fixed on the beam of the bridge and is connected through a rubber support to the bottom of the frame. The asymmetrically positioned rubber mount limits the rear axle drive's own movement.
The cardan shaft is connected to the output shaft of the gearbox and to the flange of the drive bevel gear. It transmits torque from the gearbox through the rear axle gearbox and axle shaft to the rear wheels. The rear wheels are controlled by diagonal levers, which rest on the rear axle beam through rubber mounts.
