Withdrawal
1. The brake light switch is located on the brake pedal bracket, behind the dash.
2. Turn out screws of fastening of the bottom panel of facing from the driver's side Disconnect the panel and take it out of the car.
3. Behind the front panel, disconnect the wiring connector from the switch.
4. Pull out the switch. If necessary, compress the latches and remove the switch socket from the pedal bracket (pic. 18.4, a, b).
Installation
5. Fully depress the brake pedal and, while holding it in this position, insert the switch into place. While holding the switch in place, slowly release the brake pedal until it reaches the stop. This will automatically adjust the switch position.
Note. If the pedal is released too rapidly, the switch will not adjust correctly.
6. Connect a socket of electroconducting and check up work of lamps of a stoplight. The lamps should light up when the brake pedal is moved approximately 5 mm. If the switch does not work properly, it must be replaced. The switch is not adjustable.
7. When finished, reinstall the lower cladding panel.
