Brake discs should be replaced in pairs, i.e. on both wheels of the same axle. At the same time, the brake pads should also be replaced (see section Replacing brake pads).
1. Remove the wheels. If necessary, remove and clean the brake pads (see section Replacing brake pads).
2. Unscrew the caliper mounting bolts and hang it on the body without disconnecting the brake hose.

The brake hose must not be under tension.

3. Unscrew the bolt and remove the brake disc.
To loosen the brake disc mounting bolts, do not hit the friction ring with a hammer or anything similar! If necessary, carefully tap the base of the brake disc with a soft-faced hammer.
4. Thoroughly clean the mating plane with the brake disc on the wheel hub, remove traces of corrosion if necessary. Unevenness on the mating plane can lead to warping of the brake disc.
5. Ventilated brake discs are balanced by means of balancing calipers installed on the inner diameter of the disc – do not remove or move them.
6. Measure the thickness of the brake disc and replace it if necessary.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. After completing work on the rear brake mechanism, adjust the parking brake (see section Adjusting the parking brake).
