1. Remove wheels.
2. Install the brake pedal spacer and depress the pedal lightly. When opening the hydraulic lines for the brakes, this will prevent the leakage of brake fluid from the reservoir, as well as the ingress of air into the device.
3. On the rear brakes, remove the bolts (1) and disconnect the brake hose (2). Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor connector on the right. Remove the caliper towards the rear.
4. On forward brake mechanisms disconnect a brake hose from a tube.
5. Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor connector on the left. Remove the bolts (1) and remove the caliper.
6. If you need to repair the caliper, refer to the illustrations Assembling the fixed front brake caliper, 2-piston floating caliper front brake assembly, 1-piston floating caliper front/rear brake assembly.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Do not overstretch the brake hose. When installing the rear wheel calipers, first tighten the brake hose to the caliper and then to the tube.
8. Check the laying and fastening of the electrical wiring of the brake pad wear sensor.
9. At the end of the work, bleed the brake system (see chapter Vehicle settings and routine maintenance).
