Position "O": ignition off, steering locked. The key can only be removed from the lock in this position.
When turning the key clockwise to the following positions: Position "1": the anti-theft device releases the steering with a click (if necessary, rock the steering wheel left and right). The radio and sunroof circuits may be activated.
Position "2": ignition on; the battery charge indicator lights come on (red light) and oil pressure (orange color). The fuel level and coolant temperature indicator circuits are activated.
Position "3": the key is turned all the way to position "3", overcoming the resistance of the return spring. In this position, the starter is engaged. After the engine starts, release the key, which returns to position "2".
Note: To activate the anti-theft device, turn the key to the "O" position, remove it from the lock and gently rock the steering wheel until the anti-theft device is activated.
