Fan with viscous clutch of the BMW engine drive «525», «528» (BMW 5 Series E12)
A fan with a viscous coupling forms a single unit, the parts of which are adjusted at the manufacturing plant. In case of a fan or coupling failure, the unit is replaced.
Temporarily, until replacement, you can block the viscous coupling by replacing the pulley mounting bolts with longer bolts (M6x30 mm).
