Insert the new tube, strictly maintaining its protrusion "A", which should be equal to 220±0.5 mm.
Install the mounting clamp 1 and insert the feeler gauge.

Replacing the oil dipstick guide tube on BMW 525, 528 engines (BMW 5 Series E12)
Remove clamp 1 (see photo) and remove the oil dipstick guide tube inserted into the cylinder block.
Insert the new tube, strictly maintaining its protrusion "A", which should be equal to 220±0.5 mm.
Install the mounting clamp 1 and insert the feeler gauge.
