1. Check the seat belts, buckles, latch tabs and guide loops for obvious damage or signs of wear.
2. Check if the warning light comes on "Fasten your seat belts" when the ignition key is turned to position «RUN» or «START».
3. The seat belts are designed to lock in the event of a sudden stop or impact, while still allowing you to move freely during normal driving. Check that the belt tensioners tend to tighten the belt around your chest while driving, and fully twist it when the buckle is not fastened.
4. If there are any problems with the seat belt system during the check, replace the defective components.
5. Belts that have withstood the impact of the crash should also be replaced.
