Removal and installation the door window lifter (BMW 5 Series E28)
Removal
1. Remove the door glass (Section Removal and installation door glass).
2. Loosen the mounting nuts or bolts and pull the window regulator assembly out of the door (pull out the window lift mechanism through the access hole). On models with power windows, disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation
Install in reverse order.
