Removal



Remove the door trim.

Remove the foam seal from the door cutout.

Open the window about 30 cm.

Caution: For safety reasons, disconnect the window lift motor connector (Figure W48246, "7"). Risk of injury!


Remove the window shaft seal.

Use a screwdriver to lift the clamps.

Press the glass out of the spherical cups of the window lift levers -b- and move the guide upwards by hand.

Tilt the glass forward and pull it upward.



Installation



Insert the glass from above into the shaft and connect it to the spherical heads. Put on the clamps.

Place the window shaft seal on the clamps and press. Replace any bent clamps first.

Connect the window lift motor connector and carefully raise and lower the window.

Check if the glass is adjusted correctly, the upper edge of the glass should be parallel to the window frame and the glass should be evenly immersed in the window seal. The outer seal should fit evenly against the glass, otherwise wind noise will be heard when moving.

Carefully glue the door seal onto the cutout and install the inner door trim.
