When properly adjusted, the top edge of the glass should be parallel to the window frame and the glass should sink evenly into the window seal. The outer seal must lie flat against the glass, otherwise wind noise will be heard when driving.
Open the window a little and check if there is an even, parallel gap between the window frame and the glass.
If not, remove the inner door trim.
Loosen the bolt -8- of the main stop.
By moving the tire in the slot, set the glass parallel to the window frame.
Close the window until the glass is evenly immersed in the window seal.
Move the main stop down and tighten the bolt.
Raise and lower glass. The window should close tightly, but without crushing the top seal (motor does not turn off).
If necessary, loosen the bolt of the main stop and move the stop accordingly. Tighten the bolt and repeat the test.
Raise and lower the glass several times and check the free movement of the glass in the guide; if necessary, reposition the glass.
Carefully stick the door seal on the cutout, install the inner door trim.
