Removal and installation seats (BMW 5 Series E28)

Front seat

1. Loosen the four bolts securing the seat rails to the underbody and remove the seat from the vehicle. On some models, you may need to disconnect the seat heating wiring; it may also be necessary to remove the seat belt from the seat.

2. Install in reverse order. Tighten the mounting bolts securely.

Rear seat cushions

1. First, loosen the two mounting bolts, if any. Grasp the front firmly (sedan/Convertible models) or back (models Tourist/Universal) part of the pillow and pull it up sharply.

2. Install in reverse order.
