Removal and installation door window glass (BMW 3 Series E30)

Removal

Remove the inner door trim.

If the inner door shaft seal has not been removed together with the trim, remove it.

Remove the film from the door cutout.



Place the glass in such a position that the mounting bolts are visible in the cutout.

Unscrew the two glass mounting bolts.



Tilt the glass forward from the guide.



Pull the glass upward.

Installation

Insert glass from above.

Insert the glass into the guide from the front and secure it with 2 bolts from the back. Adjust the glass.

Carefully stick the film onto the door cutout. The film should not be damaged, otherwise there will be drafts in the cabin.

Install the door shaft seal with clips on the door trim. Install the inner door trim.
