Withdrawal
Using a 10 mm wrench on the articulated extension, unscrew the bolt -1- on each hinge.
Remove seal -2- for door brake.
Use a screwdriver to pry the circlip -3- off the pin -4-.
Drive out pin -4- with a hammer. if necessary, hammer down the door brake.
On vehicles with electrical consumers in the doors, such as a central locking system, power windows or a power outside mirror, remove the protective cap from the connector -A- and pull the connector out of the door pillar.
Installation
With the help of an assistant, insert the door into the hinges -0- in the direction from the pin -C-. The door position is adjusted by moving the door hinges in the slots in the door or by installing spacers in the hinges. When reinstalling the same door, adjustment is usually not required.
Screw a bolt into each loop.
Drive in the door brake pin with a hammer and secure it with the circlip.
Place the seal on the door brake.
If there is a connector for electrical consumers in the door, connect it and put a protective cap on it.
Close the door and check the uniformity of the gap between the door and the body; if required, loosen the bolts on the door hinges and adjust the door with the bolts.
Loosen the locking wedge with a T40 wrench and move it so that the surface of the door coincides with the surface of the body. A difference of 1 mm is allowed. Replace worn locking wedges first.
