Using the device "00.9.317" (trim removal tool) completely or partially separate the sealing roller (1, Fig. 18.70) sound insulation (2). Separate the wire (3) of the airbag from the sound insulation and remove it from the door.

Clean the places where the butyl cord is installed (1, Fig. 18.71) on the inner door panel and sound insulation. Degrease the places where the adhesive will be applied and do not touch them with your hands again.

Lay a 6mm diameter butyl cord (or in two rows with a diameter of 3 mm) in the indicated places. Seal the holes for the wires with butyl cord. Heat the butyl cord (with a technical hair dryer), apply sound insulation and press firmly along the entire perimeter. The pressing force with a hand roller is approximately 30 N/cm², with a hand – approximately 10 N/cm², with a thumb – approximately 50 N/cm².
Note: Replacement of the trim and sound insulation of the rear doors should be carried out in a similar order.
