Warning! It is prohibited to disassemble the seat belt tensioner, as this may cause the spring to fly out and cause injury. Seat belts must be replaced immediately if any faults are detected: folds; fraying; traces of compression; tears and cuts; scorch marks.
The seat belts must be checked in the following order.
- Check the noise of the belt movement, the noise that occurs when it moves is considered normal, increased noise is not allowed. Check the condition of the seat belt tape, abrasions, damage to the fibers of the tape by sharp objects, fire are not allowed (burn with cigarette ash). Check the ease of movement, paying attention to the location of the belt strip; twisting of the web is not allowed.
- If the automatic tensioner does not work (sticks), replace the belt as a set.
- The belt buckle should be easily fixed and with an audible click. When pressing the "Press" key, the buckle should be pushed out of the lock under the action of the spring. Cleaning the belt is allowed only with a soap solution of water, exclude the use of chemicals.
